Eurovision song contest: the story of fire saga stories. Eurovision song contest 3a the story of fire saga tv. I was not sure about this movie during the first ten minutes. You really need to be in the mood to watch Will Ferrell's movies. But as the story develops and Rachel McAdams starts to shine and the music plays, it quickly becomes a very watchable movie that ends actually pretty good. If you have watched Eurovision before you may understand some of the jokes better, but even if you never heard of it before you can still enjoy this movie a lot. Just don't expect an amazing plot and and great script, it's a silly uplifting comedy with the characteristic weirdness and over the top jokes by Ferrell. The cinematography is good, the music and performances, particularly by Rachel McAdams, is excellent. Watch it with an open mind and an open heart. This is a movie to forget for two hours about the stream of recent bad news everywhere.

Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire saga could haunt. I was only 5 minutes into the film where I had to rush to my social media accounts and tell people they needed to drop whatever they were doing and going to watch this film. Loved everything about it. One of Ferrell's best comedies, in my opinion, which I will cherish next to Anchorman. Loved the effort put in showcasing some of the nuances of life in Iceland. Ironically, the night before we had started watching "The Valhalla's murders" a Netflix drama detective series, but as it is set in the same city of Húsavík including some of the interior sets, now I can no longer watch it with a straight face.😆
Enjoyed the chemistry between Ferrell and McAdams. And shout out to Croydon-born Dan Stevens whose character Alexander Lemtov gave me some of the biggest laughs and I'm sure it will do for everyone who can read between the lines.

I felt depressed and wanted to watch something nice, no expectations, no desire for anything "progressive" although there still was a tiny bit of it, i guess, Netflix can't help it) just a movie. Unfortunately, that's hard to find nowadays and I was glad I came across this movie.
Appreciate the beautiful scenery, it was interesting to see Iceland, very nice songs and some humor. All and all - the movie put me in a good mood and that's all what I wanted.
